ALMOST THERE!!

Ya falta poquito y estamos muy contentos con todo el trabajo que estamos preparando. Hemos terminado el mural sobre los Juegos Olímpicos y estamos ultimando nuestra propia versión de lip dub con aros, mascotas... a ver si sale y lo colgamos aquí para que lo veáis!
Por ahora os dejamos la presentación a padres por si tienen alguna duda. Las fotitos vendrán más adelante!

Not long left and we are happy with all of the work we have prepared. We have finished the mural about the Olympic Games and we have completed our own version of the Olympic rings, mascots... we will hang it outside so you can see it!
For now, we leave the presentation to the parents to see if they have any doubts. The photos come later!

ENGLAND!

At last, but not the least! Estamos todos emocionados con irnos a ENGLAND. En este viaje esperamos ser más los que podamos ir. Para hacer un poco la selección, hemos planteado una webquest sobre los Juegos Olímpicos. Si hacéis click AQUI podéis entrar en la página web del profe Roberto para echarle un ojo. El plazo termina el jueves 16 de febrero. We'll see!!!

At last but not least! We are all excited to go to ENGLAND. On this trip we hope there will be more that can go. To do a bit of selection, we have proposed a webquest about the Olympic Games. If you click here you can enter the webpage of the teacher Roberto to keep an eye on it. The deadline is Thursday 16th February. We'll see!!!

¡Cómo no! visita segura a la Torre Eiffel! Nos fuimos todos juntos y todos queríamos subir, pero las cooooooolas eran considerables, así que los más valientes subieron andando porque había menos gente. Roberto, nuestro profe de educación física hizo lo propio y se subió con los nuestros. Crsitina y yo nos quedamos vigilando ;-)! - yo ya había subido andando hacía 9 años... ¡cómo pasa el tiempo! Menos por la Torre, que sigue igual de espectacular! También fuimos al Museo d'Orssay, donde hay un montón de impresionistas y obras importantes. Además, el museo en sí vale mucho la pena. era una estación de trenes antiguamente y ahora rehabilitado como museo es precioso. Fotitos!!!

Of course! We certainly visited the Eiffel Tower! We all went together and we all wanted to go up, but the queues were considered, therefore the bravest walked up because there were less people. Roberto, our PE teacher did the same and went up with us. Me and Cristina supervised them ;-) ! I had already walked up 9 years ago... how time flies! As for the tower, that is still just as spectacular! Also, we went to the Museum D'Orssay, where there are a lot of impressionists and important work. Furthermore, the museum is well worth it. It used to be an old train station and now it has been made into a beautiful museum. Photos!!!

11 de Noviembre


El 11 de Noviembre es ante todo la fecha de aniversario del armisticio que marca el final de la Primera Guerra Mundial, el 11 de noviembre de 1918.



Además de ser día nacional y festivo en Francia, este día se convirtió para los países de Europa y del Commonwealth en el « Día del Recuerdo », en homenaje a los soldados caídos en todos los conflictos. Es el día de la conmemoración y de la celebración de todos los ex combatientes.


Como estábamos allí, nos invitaron a celebrarlo con ellos. Algunos alumnos pudieron ir hasta el Arco del Triunfo, para participar en la celebración a nivel nacional; otros también participaron en las ofrendas a nivel de distrito. Os ponemos alguna fotito para que os hagáis una idea.

11th November

11th November is, before all, the anniversary date of armistice which marks the end of the First World War, 11th November 1918.

As well as being a national holiday in France, for all the European and Commonwealth countries, this day became Remembrance Day in tribute to the fallen soldiers in all of the conflicts. It is a day of commemoration and celebration of all the ex combatants.

How we were there? They invited us to celebrate with them. Some students were able to go up to the Arc de Triumph to participate in the celebration at national level; others also participated in the tribute at district level. We have put a photo on for you to give you the idea.

¡DEPORTE!
Los dos días que hemos pasado en el colegio los hemos aprovechado para practicar deportes en grupos muuuyyy europeos y los estudiantes se lo han pasado genial. También nos hemos intercambiado juegos que son tradicionales en nuestros países respectivos y llegamos a la conclusión que algunos se parecían mucho. No importa el país, nos unen muchas cosas pequeñas que nos facilitan la convivencia. Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora.

SPORT!

Over the two days which we have spent in the school, we have taken advantage of playing sports in veryyy European groups and the students have had a nice time. Also, we have exchanged games which are traditional in our respective countries and we came to the conclusion that some were very similar. The country is not important, we united many small things which made living together easier. It has been a very enriching experience.

PARIS, MON AMOUR!

Por fin! ya llegamos! nos ha costado un poco encontrar el hotel, porque donde decía la web que estaba... exactamente NO ESTABA! así que nos tocó hacer rodar las maletas por los boulevares parisinos...en todo el barrio chino estábamos, y nosotros sin saberlo! Pero el hotel estaba bien, y la conexión con el cole también... eso sí! nos cansamos de tomar metros y tranvías! Bueno, os pongo las primeras fotitos a la llegada en Notre Damme y la del Louvre desde dentro. ¡Fuera hacía un frío que pelaba!

Finally! We arrived! It took us a while to find the hotel, because where the internet said it was...IT WAS NOT THERE!! Therefore we had to roll our suitcases through the Parisian boulevards...and through the whole of the China town without us knowing! But the hotel was good, and the link with the school as well... of course! We are tired of taking metros and trams! So, we give you the first photos, at the entrance to the Notre Damme and of the Louvre from inside. Outside it was freezing cold!

Hola a todos! Estamos preparando la visita a París. Será del 8 al 12 de noviembre y tenemos muchas ganas de ir. Ya tenemos el programa de actividades, y os lo adjuntamos a continuación. Además, estamos gravando un vídeo sobre juegos y deportes que practicamos en nuestro entorno y preparando un folleto para repartirlo entre nuestros compañeros de proyecto cuando vayamos. ¡Os lo iremos poniendo todo para que lo veáis!

Hello everyone! We are preparing the visit to Paris. It will be from 8th to 12th of November and we are very excited to go. We already have the program of activities, and we will attach this next. Furthermore, we are making a video about games and sports which we play in our country and preparing a leaflet to share amongst our fellow members of the project when we go. We will be putting it on here so you can all see it!
